The Keaton wing of the Bat-verse has been resurrected with Batman ‘89 #1, a nostalgic spin that pays tribute and expands on the classic Tim Burton Batman movies. The fallout from the return of the Burton-verse is inflated prices for the 1989 comic adaptation.

GRADE: B-

The Green Knight, sporting a beautiful, arthouse aesthetic, ultimately falls flat under the weight of a painfully slow, plodding story with sidequests ad nauseam.

Although nothing you haven’t seen before, The Suicide Squad hits its marks in what is more or less Guardians of the Galaxy meets Deadpool seen through a Quentin Tarrantino lens. And I promise, this review is mostly spoiler free.

Moon Knight #1 dives into the Fist of Khonshu’s mythos with the same action and wit we’ve come to expect from the title, but the main reason collectors will swarm for this issue is Marc Spector’s newest adversary, Hunter’s Moon.

GRADE: B

While not anything you haven’t seen, Black Widow hits all the right marks and fits nicely into the MCU pantheon while introducing characters that can take the franchise to new heights.
